Quality Assurance Manager (m/f/x)

About the role

Mondelēz is looking for an experienced Quality Assurance Manager to lead its Quality team at its biscuit factory in Opava, which has 16 production lines and more than 1,200 employees. This is a key leadership role covering product quality, food safety and regulatory compliance, with close collaboration across the plant and the wider international organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop the Quality Assurance team, set priorities and manage the department budget and investments.
• Own the plant's Integrated Management System and ensure compliance with Mondelēz standards, international requirements and legislation.
• Oversee quality systems such as GMP, HACCP, hygiene, sanitation, traceability, metrology and Hold & Release, and ensure risk assessment for new products, processes and packaging.
• Review quality documentation, prepare for internal and external audits, investigate incidents and complaints, and assess risks for non-conforming materials and products.
• Drive continuous improvement, share best practices and represent the plant externally with regulators and stakeholders.

Required profile

• University degree in Food Technology, Food Processing, Chemical Engineering, Agriculture or a related technical field.
• Proven experience in Quality Assurance, Quality Management or Food Safety, ideally in food manufacturing.
• Experience leading and developing teams.
• Fluent English and Czech.

• Process management, risk assessment and continuous improvement.
• Project management and cross-functional leadership.
