Quality Coordinator – Biscuit Factory

About the role

Mondelēz is looking for a quality coordinator for its largest biscuit factory in Europe in Opava. The main task is to create, maintain, train and coordinate the systems needed to ensure food quality and safety in line with legal and internal requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Check that processes follow specifications and that finished products meet product specs
• Coordinate and monitor action plans with other departments when non-conformities occur
• Communicate during root cause investigations of complaints and work with line managers on investigations and reporting
• Help define corrective and preventive actions and check action plan implementation
• Lead and improve the final product quality assessment system
• Take part in quality and food safety audits and projects
• Manage analytical equipment on the lines, set up procedures and train staff

Required profile

• University degree in food science
• Knowledge of Czech legislation on food and hygiene
• Experience in the food industry, quality or production department (an advantage)
• Good communication skills and active participation in team projects

• Driving licence category B
