Regional Sales Manager – Czech Republic & Slovakia

About the role

The Regional Sales Manager will lead an established team of nine sales representatives across the Czech Republic and Slovakia for a global healthcare company specializing in ostomy and continence care solutions. This role combines sales leadership, market development, and change management as the business shifts from a distributor model to a direct sales organization.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a cross‑border sales team, setting clear goals and monitoring performance.
• Design and execute regional sales strategies to achieve growth targets and manage forecasting, pipeline and business planning.
• Build and maintain relationships with hospitals, procurement stakeholders, KOLs and other healthcare professionals.
• Gather market insights, monitor competitors and support tender activities and strategic account planning.
• Drive the commercial transformation to a direct sales model, implementing new processes and fostering a high‑performance culture.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Commercial Excellence, Market Access and other internal functions to optimise patient access and business growth.

Required profile

• 10+ years of commercial experience in the Medical Devices industry.
• Proven success as a Sales Manager or Senior Sales Representative with a strong track record of results.
• Experience leading high‑performing sales teams and developing talent.
• Deep understanding of the Czech and/or Slovak healthcare market, including hospitals and tender processes.
• Strong leadership, coaching and people‑management capabilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM tools for sales tracking and performance analysis.
