Resale Supplier Quality Senior Professional (EMEA)

About the role

KION Group is looking for a Resale Supplier Quality Senior Professional (Contractor) in the EMEA region. You will act as an experienced, self-starting quality leader who drives both proactive and reactive supplier quality excellence across the EMEA resale supplier base, with a high degree of independence and rapid impact.

Key responsibilities

• Drive preventative quality strategies so quality is embedded early in the supplier and solution lifecycle, and lead risk identification and mitigation using supplier performance data and project pipeline insights
• Apply structured quality planning approaches (e.g. APQP, risk assessments) and define and standardise supplier quality expectations, deliverables and validation requirements
• Work with Solutions Development and Engineering to incorporate quality requirements at design stage, review technical specifications and drawings, and support design reviews
• Monitor supplier performance, support onboarding and qualification, and plan and run supplier audits, FATs and SATs based on risk and performance
• Lead root cause analysis (RCA) for supplier issues and drive corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)
• Support project, engineering and installation teams in resolving quality issues and share lessons learned
• Develop the Resale supplier quality strategy together with other Supplier Quality functions and procurement, and mentor less experienced colleagues

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline (or equivalent experience); Lean Six Sigma Green/Black Belt and CQE or similar preferred
• Significant experience in supplier quality management in complex, project-based environments
• Proven track record of both preventative quality improvements and reactive issue resolution (RCA, CAPA, escalations)
• Experience working closely with engineering and product development teams, and in an autonomous contractor role
• Ability to travel to customer sites up to 50% of the time

• Data-driven decision making, e.g. Pareto analysis
• Strong communication and stakeholder management across technical and non-technical audiences
