Sales Manager – MICE

About the role

As a Sales Manager – MICE at Kempinski in Prague, you will lead the development of the Meetings, Incentives, Conferences and Exhibitions (MICE) portfolio, driving revenue and market share for a luxury hotel brand. You will act as the brand ambassador, turning high‑value corporate events into bespoke experiences that reflect Kempinski’s heritage of elegance.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, secure and nurture corporate meetings, incentive groups, conferences and large‑scale events to generate MICE segment revenue.
• Manage the full sales pipeline: prospecting, bidding, preparing detailed RFPs and delivering tailored pitches to close high‑value accounts.
• Meet and exceed quarterly room‑night and banquet food & beverage revenue targets.
• Negotiate contracts, rates and concessions in line with the hotel’s yielding strategy and revenue‑management guidelines.
• Build and maintain long‑term relationships with multinational corporations, event agencies and destination management companies.
• Monitor competitor activity, market trends and upcoming city conventions to capture new business.
• Represent Kempinski at major MICE trade shows (e.g., IMEX, IBTM), roadshows and local networking events.
• Ensure seamless handover of secured business to Event Services and Banquet Operations with accurate contracts and resumes.
• Collaborate with Revenue Management to optimise space utilisation and minimum spend targets.

Required profile

• Proven ability to drive MICE revenue and increase market share.
• Strong track record of meeting or exceeding quarterly sales targets.
• Excellent relationship‑building skills with corporate clients and event planners.
• Experience representing a hotel brand at industry trade shows and networking events.
• Detail‑oriented approach to contract preparation and handover processes.
