Senior Android Developer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Android Developer to join a European client on a 6‑month contract with the possibility of extension. The role is primarily remote, with occasional on‑site sessions in Prague or Bratislava.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain native Android applications using Kotlin and modern architecture patterns.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define, design, and ship new mobile features in an Agile environment.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues, optimise performance, and ensure memory efficiency across diverse devices.
• Maintain high engineering standards through code reviews, automated unit testing, and technical documentation.
• Participate in continuous deployment workflows and support publishing on Google Play Store.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of professional hands‑on experience in native Android development.
• Strong proficiency in Kotlin and modern Android architecture (MVVM, Clean Architecture).
• Experience with RESTful API integration, JSON parsing, and asynchronous programming (Coroutines, Flow).
• Solid knowledge of Git, dependency injection (Hilt/Dagger), and mobile CI/CD pipelines.
• Full professional proficiency in English.
