Senior CAD Designer

About the role

Donaldson is looking for a technically skilled Senior CAD Designer to modify standard filtration units and create 3D models and production documentation. The role involves close collaboration with manufacturing and later communication with sales teams in English.

Key responsibilities

• Perform customer‑specific modifications to standard filtration products.
• Create 3D models using CAD software (Unigraphics, SolidWorks, SolidEdge, Siemens NX) and generate manufacturing and drawing documentation.
• Participate in technical solution development.
• Support production and other departments with technical expertise.
• After onboarding, communicate technical proposals and solutions to sales representatives in English.

Required profile

• Technical university degree in engineering or a technical high school with at least 2 years of engineering experience.
• Not suitable for recent graduates.
• Basic knowledge of English is advantageous.
• Attention to detail and ability to read and create technical documentation.
• Willingness to work onsite at the Kadan plant and reliable commuting or relocation capability.

Required skills

• Proficiency in at least one 3D CAD program (Unigraphics, SolidWorks, SolidEdge, Siemens NX).
• Ability to produce and interpret technical documentation.
