Senior DevOps Engineer

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to join a product team responsible for business‑critical trading applications in a 24/7 financial environment. The role blends hands‑on operations with infrastructure automation, CI/CD, monitoring and modernisation of an on‑premise environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage, maintain and improve production infrastructure and applications across an on‑premise environment.
• Automate deployment, configuration and operational processes using Ansible, Jenkins, Git and HashiCorp Vault.
• Administer Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8/9, including patching, upgrades, troubleshooting, performance tuning and capacity management.
• Support CI/CD pipelines and deployments across test and production environments.
• Monitor applications and infrastructure using Prometheus, Grafana and OpenSearch.
• Work with VMware, Kafka, RabbitMQ, PostgreSQL, Patroni, etcd, Apache and HAProxy.
• Contribute to infrastructure architecture improvements, automation and containerisation initiatives.
• Mentor team members and share technical knowledge.

Required profile

• 6+ years of experience in DevOps, infrastructure or technical operations, preferably in 24/7 financial or enterprise settings.
• Advanced hands‑on experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot production issues and take ownership during incidents.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
