Senior Payment Consultant – German Projects

About the role

The Senior Payment Consultant will join PwC’s Czech technology consulting team to support transformation projects for German financial institutions. You will work on payments, digital finance and API integration initiatives, collaborating with both business and IT stakeholders across banks, insurers and investment firms.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse regulatory and technological changes to design pan‑European payment solutions for banking operations.
• Develop open‑finance and API integration concepts that enable secure third‑party access to financial data.
• Collaborate with business and IT teams to translate requirements into digital payment platforms, automation and data‑driven processes.
• Support international consulting projects focused on payments and digital financial solutions for German clients.

Required profile

• University degree in Economics, Business Administration, Finance or a related interdisciplinary field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in financial services, consulting, banking, payments or fintech.
• Strong interest in technology‑enabled financial services and ability to structure and communicate complex topics.
• Professional proficiency in German (B2‑C1) and English (C1) and experience with payments, open finance or related regulations.
