Senior Total Rewards Consultant, Global Frameworks and Design

About the role

As a Senior Total Rewards Consultant you will design and develop competitive total rewards programs that help SAP attract, motivate and retain top talent worldwide. You will work within the Total Rewards Center of Excellence to create compensation frameworks that are market‑competitive and aligned with SAP’s business strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement global compensation structures, bonus plans and equity programs.
• Conduct market analyses and benchmarking to ensure competitiveness.
• Translate complex data into clear recommendations for senior People & Culture and business leaders.
• Collaborate with regional teams, HR, Finance, Legal and business stakeholders to ensure global consistency while meeting local needs.
• Identify design gaps, scale best practices and advance the maturity of SAP’s total rewards philosophy.
• Lead enterprise‑wide rewards initiatives from design through rollout, managing timelines and multiple workstreams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance or related field; advanced degree preferred.
• 6‑8+ years of experience in Total Rewards, Compensation or related areas in a global environment.
• Deep knowledge of executive and non‑executive compensation, bonus design, equity programs, benchmarking, budgeting and compliance.
• Proven ability to lead cross‑functional initiatives and influence senior leaders without direct authority.
• Strong analytical, communication and project‑management capabilities.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
• Comfortable navigating complex matrix organizations and turning ambiguity into actionable outcomes.
