Supply Chain Excellence Engineer

About the role

Join OPmobility’s R&D Center in Nový Jičín as a Supply Chain Excellence Engineer. You will lead and support Sales & Operations Planning, production planning and inventory management across the Business Group, working closely with plants and international teams.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and support S&OP, production planning and inventory management activities.
• Collaborate with plants and global teams to improve demand, supply and inventory planning.
• Prepare and analyse planning data, reports and dashboards using Power BI and Excel.
• Monitor key supply‑chain performance indicators and identify improvement opportunities.
• Support teams in enhancing forecast accuracy, inventory levels and delivery performance.
• Ensure data consistency and accuracy across SAP and other planning tools.
• Develop and improve planning tools, automating manual processes where possible.
• Participate in continuous‑improvement projects and share best practices across locations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Economics or a related field.
• Previous experience in supply‑chain planning or a similar area.
• Automotive industry experience is a plus.
• Good knowledge of SAP and strong skills in Power BI and Excel.
• Understanding of inventory management, forecasting and planning processes.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Experience with continuous‑improvement or digitalisation projects is advantageous.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work with international, cross‑functional teams.
• Fluent English for daily communication.
• Willingness to travel internationally up to 50% of the time.
