Technical Instructor

About the role

RevoData, a boutique Data & AI consultancy and Databricks Gold partner, is looking for a Technical Instructor to deliver high‑quality Databricks training across Europe. You will lead virtual sessions for data professionals, guiding them through Data Engineering, BI, Machine Learning and GenAI topics.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver engaging Databricks trainings (4‑hour to multi‑day) in English.
• Coordinate training schedules, prepare materials, manage Slack channels and handle last‑minute requests.
• Guide learners through complex technical concepts, adapting your communication style to keep participants engaged.
• Collaborate with internal instructors and Databricks to maintain high delivery standards.
• Identify inefficiencies in training operations and propose/process improvements.
• Help scale virtual training capacity to meet growing demand while ensuring consistency and quality.

Required profile

• Passion for teaching and ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
• Background in Data Engineering, analytics, software engineering or a related technical field.
• Confidence writing Python and SQL code.
• Comfortable presenting to groups (virtual or in‑person) and keeping learners engaged.
• Calm, patient, structured and eager to support others’ learning journeys.
• Willingness to invest time in learning Databricks, obtaining certification and ramping up before the first delivery.
