Technical SEO Manager

About the role

Apify is looking for a Technical SEO Manager to own and scale the technical foundation that makes its AI marketplace discoverable across search engines and large-language models. You will work closely with the SEO, Content, Engineering and Marketing teams to ensure the site is crawlable, indexable and optimized for both users and AI bots.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor, diagnose and resolve technical SEO issues using Ahrefs, Screaming Frog and Google Search Console.
• Improve crawlability, indexability and site architecture across product pages, documentation, marketplace listings and blog content.
• Lead programmatic SEO initiatives, creating and optimizing landing pages at scale with internal tools and AirOps.
• Implement and maintain structured data (Schema.org) for products, FAQs, documentation and how-to content.
• Analyse server logs and crawl data to understand Googlebot and LLM bot behavior and inform strategy.
• Build and maintain SEO automations and workflows that reduce manual effort and enable proactive issue detection.
• Contribute to overall SEO performance by researching trends, analysing traffic patterns and identifying growth opportunities.

Required profile

• 3+ years of hands-on SEO experience in a SaaS or technology company.
• Deep technical SEO expertise covering crawlability, indexation, site architecture, canonicalization, hreflang, robots.txt, XML sitemaps and log-file analysis.
• Strategic thinker who can devise scalable solutions.
• Self-motivated problem-solver able to work independently and across teams.
