Technical Writer

About the role

We are looking for a Technical Writer to join our Product team and create comprehensive documentation for Hume, our connected data analytics platform used by intelligence analysts and data engineers in mission‑critical environments.

Key responsibilities

• Write end‑user guides, operations manuals and tutorials for admins, DevOps, data engineers, data scientists and analysts.
• Develop and maintain documentation for the Hume Academy training program.
• Keep all documentation up to date with the product release cycle.
• Collaborate closely with product and engineering teams to gather technical information and ensure alignment with roadmap goals.
• Partner with the other technical writer to continuously improve documentation quality and structure.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience creating software documentation.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Strong sense of ownership, attention to detail and ability to work in distributed teams.
• Proactive, “can‑do” attitude with an agile problem‑solving mindset.

Required skills

• Docs as Code workflow and Git.
• Markdown, AsciiDoc and familiarity with Antora.
• API documentation experience.
• Understanding of graph database concepts, Cypher and Neo4j.
