Velys Clinical Specialist (MedTech, No Commission)

About the role

The Clinical Specialist builds relationships with key accounts and provides clinical support in the CEE Central region (Czech Republic, Hungary, Slovakia) for the Velys robotic-assisted solution. The role develops business opportunities across the Johnson & Johnson MedTech product range, supports Account-based Business Plans and migrates Depuy Synthes new products, while maintaining long-term customer relationships. It is a 25% office / 75% field position.

Key responsibilities

• Build customer relationships and provide clinical support focused on the Velys Robotic Assisted Solution procedure, recommending new features and product improvements.
• Identify development opportunities and grow unit growth, profitability and market share for target customers.
• Improve patient care through in-service education and training where appropriate.
• Support sales, scrub, marketing and franchise teams in sales meetings, account development and day-to-day business issues.
• Manage account information through timely reports and accurate customer records.
• Support the commercial strategy, including contracting and tenders, market access (DRG shaping), OR efficiency, product content, advertising and promotion, and the future product pipeline (including the LEX process).
• Work with marketing on new product launches, clinical meetings and training, run training for commercial and scrub technicians, and report on cases completed.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree (medical technology or biomedical sciences preferable).
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience with medical devices (required).
• Proven experience as a Clinical Specialist in arthroplasty (strongly preferred).
• Able to work under pressure, with strong leadership, communication and presentation skills.

• Anticipated base pay range of CZK 915,000 to CZK 1,473,150.
