Compliance Specialist

About the role

Huawei is hiring a Compliance Specialist in Prague to support the Country Compliance Officer in implementing the company's compliance management requirements. The role helps set up and run the compliance responsibility system, reviews internal and external documents, and ensures the subsidiary operates in a compliant way. It is a 100% onsite position and candidates must be eligible to work and live in Prague.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and champion dialogue with local regulators, external counsel, industry associations and key clients
• Identify and assess compliance risks and build a compliance risk map
• Review contracts, partnership agreements, business plans and sensitive documents for compliance and legal issues
• Lead the resolution of compliance incidents and oversee the representative office's accountability framework
• Design and run internal training to build a strong compliance culture

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or above in Law
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in compliance management, corporate governance or legal practice
• Full professional proficiency in English and Czech; Chinese is a plus
• Strong communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to turn complex legal risks into practical operational solutions

Required skills

• Knowledge of anti-bribery and corruption, competition law, cybersecurity, privacy protection, financial and trade compliance, and third-party compliance
• Legal research and analytical skills
• Cross-functional teamwork
