Cyber Security Operations Centre Team Lead

About the role

Merkle, a dentsu company, is looking for a Cyber Security Operations Centre Team Lead in Brno. You will report to the Head of Security Operations and lead day-to-day Security Operations Centre (SOC) activity, including security monitoring, alert triage and operational service delivery across dentsu. You will also oversee the remaining TAG endpoint security operations during integration and act as the primary operational contact for TAG stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day SOC operations, including security monitoring, alert triage and service delivery.
• Improve operational maturity through process optimisation, automation and continuous improvement.
• Work with the CSIRT to ensure timely escalation and handover of incidents requiring formal incident response.
• Oversee TAG endpoint security operations and act as the main operational contact for TAG stakeholders.
• Support vulnerability management across dentsu through visibility, metrics and reporting, and track and escalate overdue or high-risk vulnerabilities.
• Work with technology teams on remediation planning and prioritisation, and contribute to improvements in vulnerability management, governance and reporting.
• Manage and mentor junior analysts.

Required profile

• Experience managing and mentoring junior analysts.
• Ability to use analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, supported by research, data collation and analysis.
• Ability to organise work, manage multiple deadlines and handle high-pressure situations.
• Clear presentation of technical and non-technical information, verbally and in writing, with attention to detail.
• Ability to produce security documentation and technical analysis reports.
• Collaborative, team-oriented approach.
