Cybersecurity Consultant – Threat Detection & Response Team Lead

About the role

PwC's Threat Management team in Prague offers a Cybersecurity Consultant position leading a newly established Threat Detection & Response (TDR) delivery team. The role combines client delivery leadership, hands-on technical work and business development, with a clear path toward Senior Manager or Director.

Key responsibilities

• Lead client engagements end to end, manage scope and priorities, and act as the primary client contact with security leadership and management
• Facilitate executive and technical workshops and present outcomes to C-level and CISO stakeholders
• Contribute hands-on expertise in SIEM, Threat Hunting, Incident Response and Detection Engineering, and review technical outputs and architecture
• Mentor Senior Associates and drive business development through presales, proposals, pricing and estimation
• Define and scale service offerings, delivery frameworks and reusable assets

Required profile

• 6-10+ years of cybersecurity experience, including at least 2 years in consulting or a client-facing role
• Proven experience leading projects, work packages or delivery streams
• Ability to communicate with security leadership in business terms and to mentor junior team members
• Proficiency in English (C1); Czech is an advantage

Required skills

• Hands-on experience in at least two areas: SIEM (preferably Splunk), Threat Hunting, Incident Response, Detection Engineering
• Proposal preparation, labor estimation and scope definition
• Nice to have: Microsoft Sentinel, Azure/AWS architecture, SOAR, MITRE ATT&CK, threat modeling, red/purple teaming, Big4 or MSSP background
