Data Collection Operations Lead

About the role

Revel is an AI robotics company building general‑purpose humanoid robots. The Data Collection Operations Lead will own the day‑to‑day operation and continuous improvement of the human data‑collection pipeline that fuels robot intelligence.

Key responsibilities

• Own day‑to‑day operation of the human data‑collection facility and translate experimental protocols into clear SOPs for operators.
• Plan and coordinate data‑collection sessions, staffing, participant schedules and workstation utilization.
• Recruit, onboard and train data‑collection operators while defining and enforcing standards for sensor setup, participant preparation, protocol execution, data labelling and quality control.
• Monitor data quality, throughput, failure rates and operator performance using operational metrics and drive continuous improvement.
• Maintain documentation, version control of SOPs and ensure protocol changes are consistently communicated and implemented.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in operations, laboratory management, research operations or a comparable hands‑on environment.
• Proven ability to own a physical workflow end‑to‑end and manage multiple people, shifts or parallel activities.
• Strong analytical mindset with experience using metrics to identify problems and make decisions.
• Exceptional attention to detail and instinct for data quality and experimental consistency.
• Professional working proficiency in English and willingness to work on‑site in the Czech Republic.
