Delivery Structure Specialist

About the role

KONE is looking for a Delivery Structure Specialist to join its Supply Chain Product Management team. The team plans and implements global product supply strategies, covering supply aspects of product development, product costing and product change management. The Delivery Structure team defines and maintains delivery and manufacturing structures across supply lines and manufacturing units, and the specialist contributes to new product introductions and product change implementation. The role is preferably based in Usti, with Pero or Cadrezzate as alternatives, and occasional travel is required.

Key responsibilities

• Define supply line requirements for Engineering and Delivery Structures based on existing supply and manufacturing strategies.
• Participate in make or buy studies and related supply chain evaluations.
• Reorganize Engineering Structures into Delivery Structures at ESU and ECU level to support business and manufacturing use cases.
• Create and maintain DS configuration data and related technical rules for new and existing products.
• Manage configuration updates driven by product, technology and supply chain changes.
• Define component tagging and configuration logic so that product and sales orders are configured correctly.
• Support the validation and implementation of product changes and releases across the supply chain.
• Troubleshoot product configuration and data issues with technical and business stakeholders.
• Identify gaps in tools and processes and initiate development requests for enhancements.

Required profile

• Solid knowledge of Product Data Management (PDM).
• Engineering background or relevant engineering experience.
• Experience with configuration management, product structures (BOMs), variants and PLM/PDM tools.
• Understanding of order-to-delivery flows and ability to analyse and resolve related issues.
• Basic understanding of the KONE system landscape and data flow across engineering, configuration, sales, manufacturing and supply chain systems.
• Deep knowledge of Change Request (CR) processes and product change practices.
• Ability to test and validate change scenarios in testing environments after product changes.
• Experience with manufacturing, purchasing, supply chain or product management processes is an advantage.
• Analytical, structured problem-solving approach, strong collaboration and stakeholder management in an international environment, and fluent written and spoken English.
