General Ledger Accountant II

About the role

Join Zebra Technologies as a General Ledger Accountant II and become a key contributor to the accuracy and integrity of our regional financial statements. You will support month‑end close processes, analyze complex transactions, and help improve accounting procedures across multiple legal entities.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with finance teams to execute month‑end close for several entities, preparing financial statements and handling complex journal entries.
• Perform detailed reconciliations to ensure the general ledger remains accurate and reliable.
• Identify and implement process improvements, document new procedures, and assist with ERP account setups and integrations.
• Maintain compliance with U.S. GAAP, SOX, and other global accounting standards, preparing documentation for internal and external audits.
• Analyze moderately complex accounting projects, preparing, recording, and reviewing a wide range of transactions.

Required profile

• 2‑5 years of experience in accounting or finance with a solid foundational knowledge.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; relevant certification is a plus.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to solve detailed reconciliation challenges.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with ERP systems.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
