In-House Legal Counsel

About the role

Bagira seeks an experienced corporate lawyer to serve as the sole legal specialist within the company. Reporting to the VP Contracts & General Counsel, the In‑House Legal Counsel will act as a true business partner to leadership and key departments, ensuring legal compliance while supporting commercial objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Provide day‑to‑day legal support to local operations under the guidance of the VP Contracts & General Counsel.
• Serve as the primary legal point of contact for local management and business units.
• Collaborate with the central Legal team in Israel on strategic matters, corporate policies, and group‑wide initiatives.
• Coordinate and manage external legal advisors as needed.
• Identify, assess, and escalate significant legal risks to senior leadership.
• Draft, review, negotiate, and manage a broad range of commercial agreements.
• Support procurement in setting contractual terms and negotiate with suppliers and partners.
• Handle corporate matters, compliance initiatives, and implementation of group legal policies.
• Draft and review employment agreements, advise HR on employment issues, and support disciplinary procedures.
• Prepare and update internal legal documentation.
• Identify government grants, funding opportunities, and incentive schemes for business development.
• Lead or support special legal and cross‑functional projects assigned by the VP.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of relevant experience in‑house or at a law firm.
• Proven practice in contract, commercial, corporate, and employment law.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating closely with senior legal leadership.
• Strong business acumen and a solution‑oriented mindset.
• Excellent communication skills; able to explain legal topics to non‑lawyers.
• Very good command of English for daily communication with the Israeli legal team.
