Junior Data Analyst - Forensic Technology Services

About the role

PwC's Forensic Technology Services team in Prague is looking for a full-time, junior, tech-savvy analyst who enjoys playing with data, is curious about both scripting and interpreting results, is willing to work late occasionally and is ready to learn new technologies. The team supports fraud investigations, builds data analytical tools and applications to identify wrongdoing, and produces data visualisations.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse information from various IT systems and public data sources to find trends, connections and signs of fraud or other wrongful behaviour.
• Search for evidence of fraud and abuse within a company's finance system.
• Create visualisations in PowerBI, Tableau, Qlik, Plotly or similar.
• Learn to use and analyse data with advanced digital forensic tools and techniques.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in data analysis, technology or a scientific background.
• Very good command of English.
• Teamwork, high ethical standards, analytical mindset and attention to detail.
• Willingness to travel, sometimes on short notice.
• Czech or Slovak is a big plus.

Required skills

• Basic knowledge of at least one of SQL, Python, R or another scripting or programming language.
• PowerBI, Tableau or other visualisation tools.
