Junior IS/IT Support – Service Desk

About the role

Join the internal IT support team of a leading consulting firm, providing day‑to‑day assistance to all CGI employees across the Czech and Slovak Republics. As a Junior IS/IT Support specialist you will be the first point of contact for hardware, software and application issues, helping colleagues stay productive.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver first‑level IT support in person and via phone.
• Answer questions about company‑supported applications and troubleshoot hardware/software problems.
• Advise users on solutions and next steps, acting as a liaison between end users and technology teams.
• Work one‑on‑one with staff on application‑related requests.
• Document incidents and resolutions for future reference.
• Assist colleagues with administrative IT tasks and perform other related duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Junior professional with a genuine interest in IT technologies, principles and operations.
• Ability to work independently as a first‑level support specialist.
• Experience or strong interest in operational support, proactive monitoring and problem troubleshooting.
• Excellent communication skills in English; fluent Czech or Slovak is mandatory.
• Pragmatic, flexible team player with a proactive attitude and willingness to handle administrative tasks.
