Lean / Kaizen Specialist

About the role

Geaerospace is looking for a Czech-speaking Lean / Kaizen specialist in Prague who drives operational excellence by analysing processes, eliminating waste and fostering a culture of continuous improvement using the internal tool Flight Deck. The specialist facilitates workshops, coaches employees and implements Lean and 5S methodologies across organisational workflows.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate Kaizen workshops, Gemba walks, rapid improvement events and other continuous improvement activities at site level, partnering with cross-functional teams to turn improvement ideas into measurable results.
• Analyse current-state processes and workflows to find inefficiencies and bottlenecks, use Value Stream Mapping and other lean tools to set baselines and implement sustainable solutions that reduce cycle time and waste.
• Develop, implement and sustain standardised work practices, establish and audit 5S standards and promote visual management.
• Monitor and report KPIs on Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost/Productivity (SQDC), tracking progress against targets and supporting leadership in prioritising improvements.
• Coach leaders, supervisors and frontline staff in lean principles, problem-solving tools and continuous improvement methods, building teams into self-sustaining improvement champions.

Required profile

• Czech and English speaking.
• Experience facilitating structured problem-solving and process improvement initiatives in manufacturing, operations or service environments.
• Ability to analyse operational data, identify performance gaps and turn findings into actionable plans.
• Change management, cross-functional collaboration and strong verbal and written communication skills.
• A proactive, hands-on approach suited to fast-paced operational environments.
