About the role
The Material Handler will oversee the end‑to‑end management of spare parts for delivery, commissioning and service projects. Based primarily in an office environment, the role coordinates with an external warehouse and multiple suppliers to ensure timely and reliable parts delivery.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain and manage spare parts and accessories, tracking component compatibility and condition.
- Coordinate regular maintenance checks of stored components, including battery condition and functional testing.
- Monitor stock levels, issue purchase orders, and place supplier orders via email.
- Arrange and track regional services such as scaffolding, welding and electrical installation as required for projects.
- Record all incoming and outgoing stock movements in inventory systems and trigger replenishment when thresholds are reached.
- Organise transport of parts to customers and manage warranty claim logistics, including packaging and shipping of defective items.
- Maintain accurate records in warehouse management and inventory tracking systems.
Required profile
- Experience in parts inventory, procurement and logistics coordination, preferably within an industrial or energy sector.
- Strong organisational abilities and effective communication with external warehouses and suppliers.
- Office‑based work with occasional physical handling of materials.
Required skills
