Product Owner – Customer Experience

About the role

Rohlik, the leading Central European e‑grocer, is looking for a Product Owner to own a segment of the customer journey across search, personalization, checkout and more. You will work in a fast‑moving, AI‑first environment influencing five European markets.

Key responsibilities

• Own business and customer metrics for your product segment and drive weekly performance improvements.
• Gather first‑hand customer insights through interviews, home visits and feedback channels.
• Translate product vision into clear user stories, acceptance criteria and manage the backlog.
• Design and run hypothesis‑driven A/B experiments, evaluate results and sunset under‑performing features.
• Query product analytics and the data warehouse directly using SQL to report weekly metrics.
• Embed daily with a 3‑5 person engineering cell, using AI tools for rapid prototyping.
• Balance local operational requirements across CZ, DE, HU, AT and RO while maintaining a unified product vision.

Required profile

• 3+ years of product ownership experience on web or native consumer apps.
• Strong data‑driven mindset with proven ability to design and interpret A/B tests.
• Excellent communication and persuasion skills to align cross‑functional stakeholders without formal authority.
• Fluent English; conversational Czech, German or Hungarian is a plus.
• Experience in online grocery, q‑commerce or logistics‑heavy marketplaces is highly valued.

Required skills

• SQL proficiency for analytics and reporting.
• Hands‑on experience with AI tooling such as Claude Code, Cursor or similar LLM‑based prototyping tools.
