SAP Inhouse Consultant (MES)

About the role

KION Group is looking for an experienced SAP MES consultant to join its Operations ITS EMEA team. The role is based in the Pilsen Region or South Bohemian Region of the Czech Republic, or in Luzzara, Lainate or Rolo in Italy, and focuses on standardizing and continuously improving business processes in SAP-based production environments.

Key responsibilities

• Define process steps and process deviations in your area of responsibility in detail
• Promote standardization and support regions and sites in scope validation and evaluation of scope extensions
• Proactively identify and propose new standardization opportunities to improve processes
• Manage and coordinate the design of new requirements and communicate decisions to the organization
• Coordinate and manage the global key user network
• Serve as the main contact for local key users and manage deliverables (create, validate, test, deploy, train)

Required profile

• University degree in business informatics, business administration, engineering or a comparable field, or a completed apprenticeship with relevant professional experience
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in SAP MES
• Experience solving problems with local key users and IT and analyzing business processes
• Very good knowledge of eliciting and documenting business processes and creating requirement specifications
• Excellent English communication skills; additional EMEA languages are an advantage
• Willingness to travel internationally

The estimated pay range is 47,000 to 62,000 EUR per year, depending on location, education, experience and skills.
