SCM Category Manager - Temporary Labor

About the role

HITACHI ENERGY CZECH REPUBLIC S.R.O. is looking for an experienced Category Manager for temporary labor in Prague. The role covers sourcing, procurement and management of temporary labor and helps optimize the regional supply base so that it remains reliable, compliant and cost-effective.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, plan and implement sourcing strategies for temporary labor, focused on IT and engineering spend
• Lead end-to-end procurement, including supplier identification, negotiation, contract management and commercial agreements
• Ensure compliance with local labor laws, immigration requirements and other regulations
• Build and maintain relationships with staffing suppliers and agencies, evaluating their performance
• Identify risks and put in place business continuity measures for labor supply
• Drive programs that improve cost efficiency, workforce quality and process reliability
• Manage large-scale regional projects and work closely with the Global SCM Category Lead, Temporary Labor

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field; advanced education or certifications are a plus
• Proven experience in temporary labor category management, strategic sourcing or procurement, preferably at a global level
• Strong knowledge of labor laws and compliance for temporary staffing in the target regions
• Fluency in English

• Gross salary of EUR 3,760 per month plus a 15% annual bonus (minimum level)
