Senior Accountant – Germany & Czech Republic

About the role

MicroNova’s Automotive Testing business, now part of BlueBinaries under the NovaBinaries brand, is looking for a Senior Accountant to manage financial closing and reporting for its entities in Germany and the Czech Republic. The role can be based in either country and offers a strong international focus.

Key responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly and annual financial closing, including journal entries, provisions, accruals and balance‑sheet reconciliations.
• Coordinate accounting activities across German and Czech entities, working with external partners to ensure statutory compliance.
• Manage intercompany accounting, reconciliations and settlements, and support preparation of financial statements under German HGB and Czech GAAP.
• Collaborate with tax advisors, auditors and Group Finance on audit, tax and VAT matters.
• Prepare management and Group reports and assist treasury functions such as payments and cash‑flow planning.
• Identify and implement improvements to financial processes, systems and internal controls.

Required profile

• University degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a comparable qualification.
• At least 7 years of finance and accounting experience in an international, multi‑entity environment.
• Strong knowledge of German HGB and good knowledge of Czech GAAP.
• Proven experience with intercompany accounting, Group reporting and consolidation.
• Fluent in German and English with strong analytical and communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with modern ERP systems such as DATEV or Microsoft Dynamics 365.
• Advanced Excel skills.
