Senior Controller – Germany & Czech Republic

About the role

MicroNova’s Automotive Testing business, now part of BlueBinaries under the NovaBinaries brand, is seeking a Senior Controller to oversee financial planning and performance management for its German and Czech entities. The role can be based in either Germany or the Czech Republic and works closely with management, Accounting, and Group Finance.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and analyse monthly management reports, including P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, KPIs and variance analysis, providing insights and recommendations.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and long‑term financial planning to ensure reliable financial management.
• Monitor business performance, analyse drivers, identify improvement areas and deliver insights to management and Group Finance.
• Assist with liquidity planning, cash‑flow forecasting, working‑capital management and project/investment controlling.
• Coordinate reporting with the German holding company and Group Finance, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
• Develop financial models, dashboards and reporting tools while continuously improving controlling processes and systems.

Required profile

• University degree in Finance, Controlling, Accounting, Economics or a comparable field.
• 5–8 years of experience in Controlling, FP&A, Commercial Finance or a similar finance role.
• Strong background in budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis and management reporting.
• Experience with group reporting and consolidation in an international, multi‑entity environment.
• Fluent in German and English with strong analytical and communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP systems such as DATEV or Microsoft Dynamics 365.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Knowledge of Power BI or similar business intelligence tools (plus).
• Familiarity with IFRS and multinational reporting environments (plus).
