Senior AI-Assisted Software Engineer

About the role

Nexer Czech Republic, a division of DANIR AB, an IT consulting and R&D company, is looking for a Senior AI-Assisted Software Engineer to join an international team delivering enterprise platforms for workflow automation, pricing, tender management and system integration. The role is based in Czechia, on a 100% allocated employment contract, with remote work and occasional travel.

Key responsibilities

• Own problems end-to-end, from discovery through production delivery and support
• Work with Product Owners, architects, engineers, testers and business stakeholders to define and deliver solutions
• Design and implement backend services, web applications, APIs, integrations, data flows and cloud solutions
• Build prototypes, validate solutions with users and iterate on outcomes
• Ensure solutions meet requirements for scalability, security, resilience, maintainability and operational readiness
• Use AI-assisted tools for development, testing, troubleshooting, code reviews, migrations and documentation, and review AI-generated outputs for quality, security and correctness
• Drive technical decisions, architecture discussions and engineering best practices
• Troubleshoot complex issues across applications, integrations, infrastructure and data environments
• Mentor team members and explain technical trade-offs to technical and non-technical audiences

Required profile

• Based in Czechia, with strong hands-on experience delivering production software in enterprise environments
• Ability to turn unclear requirements into production-ready solutions
• Strong understanding of software architecture, security, scalability, performance, maintainability and operational excellence
• Experience with distributed systems and enterprise integrations, and troubleshooting and root-cause analysis
• Experience making technical decisions under uncertainty and documenting architectural choices
• Professional English and excellent communication skills
