Senior Contracts Manager

About the role

The Senior Contracts Manager will own the full lifecycle of contract management for a leading clinical research organization. This role partners with business development, legal, finance, procurement and operations to ensure contracts align with corporate policies, regulatory requirements and business goals.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review, negotiate and manage a wide range of contracts including MSAs, NDAs, subcontractor, licensing and government/commercial agreements.
• Lead negotiations with clients, vendors, subcontractors and government agencies while balancing legal risk and business objectives.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, industry standards and regulatory requirements such as FAR/DFARS.
• Maintain contract templates, track obligations, renewals and support internal and external audits.
• Act as primary contact for Legal, Finance, Business Development, Operations and Procurement on contract matters.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Law, Finance or a related field; advanced legal/commercial degree preferred.
• 8‑10 years of experience in legal, paralegal or contract management roles.
• 4‑6 years of experience in government contracting (FAR/DFARS) or commercial contracting within regulated industries.
• Strong understanding of contract law, regulatory compliance and risk assessment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with contract management platforms such as SAP Ariba, Coupa, Conga and DocuSign CLM.
• Expertise in drafting, negotiating and managing complex agreements.
