Senior Site Contracts Negotiator

About the role

ICON, a global healthcare intelligence and clinical research organisation, is hiring a Senior Site Contracts Negotiator for its offices or home-based positions in Slovakia, Czechia and Romania. The role leads the negotiation of clinical trial agreements and budgets with investigator sites, aiming for timely, compliant and mutually beneficial outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Negotiate site contracts and budgets for complex or high-priority clinical studies across multiple countries
• Review contract terms so they align with sponsor requirements, internal policies and applicable laws and regulations
• Serve as a key point of contact for sites on contractual matters, answering questions and resolving issues promptly
• Work with legal, finance and project teams to keep contractual language and budget assumptions consistent
• Monitor contract cycle times and help improve them
• Support the development of contract templates, playbooks and negotiation guidelines

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in law, business, life sciences or a related field, or equivalent experience
• Significant experience in site contracting or clinical vendor contracting within a CRO, pharma or related industry
• Strong understanding of clinical trial agreements, budget structures and key legal and compliance considerations
• Fluent in English and Czech
• Experience managing multiple contracts and timelines across countries
• Legal right to work in the country where the role is based
