Senior Sales Executive – Payments & Banking Solutions

About the role

FIS is looking for an experienced sales professional to drive new‑business growth across Central and Eastern Europe. The role focuses on building relationships with banks and financial institutions, identifying opportunities and delivering complex solution sales in the payments and banking space.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute territory sales plans to exceed revenue targets.
• Identify, qualify and close new business opportunities with banks and financial institutions across the region.
• Build and maintain senior‑level relationships with key decision‑makers.
• Lead complex sales engagements from prospecting through contract negotiation and closure.
• Collaborate with product, solution consulting, delivery and executive stakeholders to craft customer solutions and proposals.
• Maintain a robust pipeline and provide accurate sales forecasting.
• Monitor market trends, customer requirements and competitive activity within the banking and payments industry.
• Represent the organization at customer meetings, industry events and conferences.

Required profile

• Extensive enterprise sales experience within payments, banking technology, fintech or financial services.
• Proven success selling technology solutions to banks, issuers, financial institutions or payment providers.
• Consistent track record of achieving or exceeding new‑business sales targets.
• Experience managing complex, multi‑stakeholder sales cycles and contract negotiations.
• Strong executive presence with ability to engage C‑suite and senior business leaders.
• Fluent English communication skills.
