Senior Sales Manager MICE

About the role

OREA Hotels & Resorts seeks a proactive Senior Sales Manager to lead the active acquisition of MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, Exhibitions) business for its two flagship congress hotels in Prague and Brno. This senior position focuses on building a robust pipeline, entering new markets, and driving revenue growth through direct sales activities.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and acquire new MICE clients, including corporations, associations, agencies, PCOs/DMCs, and incentive groups.
• Develop and manage a client portfolio across local and international markets.
• Represent OREA Hotels & Resorts at major trade shows and roadshows such as IMEX, IBTM World, and IMEX America.
• Negotiate contracts and framework agreements, collaborating closely with Revenue Management on pricing.
• Build long‑term relationships with key accounts and systematically expand their business potential.
• Work with the Event Booking Centre to convert enquiries into confirmed bookings.
• Maintain and report on the sales pipeline, forecast results, and evaluate performance.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of MICE sales experience in the hotel, congress, or event agency sector.
• Established network of contacts locally and internationally.
• Proven track record of winning new business rather than only managing existing accounts.
• Fluent business English; additional language (German or others) is a strong advantage.
• Willingness to travel regularly within the Czech Republic and abroad.
• Proactive, independent, results‑driven mindset with strong commercial acumen.
• Valid Category B driving licence.
