SOC Analyst

About the role

PwC's cybersecurity team in Prague offers a SOC Analyst position. The team delivers services to clients from the Czech Republic and the wider EMEA region using SIEM systems, EDR/XDR tools and other technologies, covering monitoring, incident investigation, remediation and post-incident activities. The analyst identifies and analyzes threats in client environments and contributes to service improvements and cross-disciplinary projects.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and analyze threats in client environments using SIEM and EDR tools
• Perform log analysis and investigations to reach conclusions based on evidence
• Contribute to continuous improvement through service development, updated guidelines and procedures
• Contribute to larger cross-disciplinary projects for major clients

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year of relevant professional experience
• Consistent, reliable and professional personality, able to work in international and diverse teams
• Previous SOC/CERT/CSIRT (or equivalent) experience highly desired
• Czech language is an advantage

Required skills

• Hands-on information security skills, with a focus on system and log analysis or Windows/Linux administration
• Helpful: SIEM and EDR tools such as Microsoft Sentinel, Defender, Tanium, QRadar, FireEye
• Helpful: experience in global enterprise environments, incident response, threat intelligence, vulnerability management, digital forensics
• Helpful: industry-recognized certifications in information security or threat management
