Threat Intelligence Analyst

About the role

Join PwC’s Cloud Security Engineering team in Prague as a Threat Intelligence Analyst. You will work with senior cloud security engineers to analyze cyber threats, produce intelligence reports, and help secure a global multi‑cloud environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage threat‑intelligence projects, ensuring timely delivery and stakeholder satisfaction.
• Analyze and report on cyber threats, including attribution, incident response, and threat‑actor TTPs.
• Develop strategic, tactical and operational intelligence reports and recommend preventative controls.
• Apply intelligence tradecraft such as the kill‑chain, MITRE ATT&CK and the diamond model.
• Utilize SIEM platforms (e.g., Splunk), threat‑intelligence platforms (MISP, ThreatQ), malware sandboxes and OSINT tools.
• Support detection development, malware analysis and command‑and‑control framework analysis.

Required profile

• 2–4 years of cloud security or security engineering experience.
• Intermediate to advanced experience with at least one major cloud platform (Azure, AWS or GCP).
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with technical and business stakeholders.

Required skills

• Threat‑intelligence frameworks: MITRE ATT&CK, Cyber Kill Chain.
• SIEM platforms: Splunk, Microsoft Sentinel, Microsoft Defender.
• Threat‑intelligence platforms: MISP, ThreatQ.
• OSINT collection and analysis.
• Incident response, cyber investigations and malware analysis.
• Basic scripting/programming, preferably Python.
