About the role

Join the Audit Services Team at Global Payments Europe and help shape the future of global commerce by conducting assurance reviews and audits of business processes and information systems.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in conducting assurance reviews and audits to evaluate control design and effectiveness.
• Execute the audit process, including planning, client coordination, fieldwork, data analysis, documentation, and remediation validation.
• Understand business and IT processes to identify risks and document process understanding.
• Perform testing of automated business process controls and IT general controls, assessing design and operating effectiveness (access, change management, operations, security).
• Document high‑quality work papers, communicate audit results, support recommendations, and coordinate with stakeholders.

Required profile

• 1–3 years of audit and risk‑management experience.
• Knowledge of auditing principles and standards (IPPF / IIA).
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Auditing, Business Management, Information Technology or a related field.
• Experience with internal control frameworks such as Sarbanes‑Oxley, SSAE 18 / SOC 1 & SOC 2, and AICPA Trust Services Criteria.
• Strong communication and project‑management skills with the ability to work independently.
• Proficient English communication (B2‑C1 level).
