PLM Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a PLM Engineer to support the full lifecycle of automotive product data at Lear’s Engineering Development Center in Pilsen. The role involves managing engineering documentation, change processes, and release packages within PLM systems to deliver compliant, high‑quality solutions for European OEM customers.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineering teams on technical documentation, drawings, and product specifications.
• Create, maintain, and modify Bill of Materials (BOM) in alignment with engineering requirements.
• Analyze engineering changes and assess their impact on products, ERP systems, and related documentation.
• Support the Engineering Change Management process, including change requests, approvals, documentation, and coordination with internal teams and suppliers.
• Ensure accuracy and consistency of all product data throughout the development lifecycle.

Required profile

• Experience managing product data within PLM environments in the automotive sector.
• Strong understanding of engineering documentation, BOM structures, and change management procedures.
• Ability to work closely with cross‑functional teams and suppliers to deliver compliant solutions.
