Quality Supervisor

About the role

The Quality Supervisor will lead the quality strategy for Lear's Plzeň Technical Center, ensuring compliance with internal standards and OEM requirements for automotive seating prototypes and pre‑series builds.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement quality processes, rules, and documentation.
• Manage quality activities for prototype and pre‑series phases, including acceptance criteria and quality gates.
• Lead, mentor, and motivate a small quality team (2‑5 members).
• Handle customer and supplier complaints, conduct 8D problem solving, root‑cause analysis, and corrective actions.
• Coordinate with development, testing, APQP, and prototype workshop teams.
• Support risk analyses (DFMEA/PFMEA), control plans, and prototype control strategies.
• Oversee measurement results, dimensional reporting, and quality validation.
• Prepare regular quality reports for internal management and customers.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in automotive quality.
• Strong knowledge of quality tools such as 8D, FMEA, Control Plan, Ishikawa, 5 Why, and 5S.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Good understanding of measurement techniques.
• English proficiency at B2‑C1 level.
• Proficient PC skills (Excel, PowerPoint, MS Teams, Outlook).
• Leadership capability to guide a small team.
