Casual Breakfast Cook – Hotel Kitchen

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Breakfast Cook to join our hotel kitchen on a casual basis. You will be part of a dynamic team that prepares fresh breakfast items for guests, ensuring high quality and consistency throughout the service.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and organise mise en place to support smooth kitchen operations.
• Assist with food preparation across all service periods.
• Maintain high standards of food quality and presentation.
• Keep the work area clean, organised and hygienic.
• Follow food safety standards and support stock rotation practices.
• Receive, check, and store deliveries in line with procedures.
• Support the wider kitchen team to ensure efficient service.
• Serve and cash out customers when required.

Required profile

• Enjoy working in a team environment and delivering high‑quality results.
• Commitment to food safety, HACCP and occupational health & safety standards.
• Three years of experience in a kitchen or restaurant setting.
• Positive attitude, strong customer service skills and good team spirit.
