Android Solutions Architect

About the role

We are seeking an Android Solutions Architect to lead the design and delivery of complex, scalable Android applications within an automotive environment. The role focuses on aligning the Android ecosystem with enterprise standards, system requirements, and stringent security and safety constraints while integrating AI‑powered capabilities.

Key responsibilities

• Own the end‑to‑end architecture of Android applications and ensure compliance with enterprise and automotive standards.
• Define and validate architectural decisions, including framework selection, design patterns (MVVM, MVI, Clean Architecture) and integration strategies.
• Design scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions for Android Automotive OS and related vehicle systems.
• Leverage AI development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot) to accelerate prototyping, debugging, and team productivity.
• Lead technical discussions, mentor development teams, and establish best‑practice guidelines.
• Identify, evaluate, and mitigate technical risks, providing alternative solutions when needed.
• Produce technical documentation, architectural diagrams, and ensure CI/CD integration and performance optimization.

Required profile

• Based in the Czech Republic.
• University degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum 5 years of software engineering experience with strong Android development expertise.
• Hands‑on experience with AI tools such as GitHub Copilot and ability to critically validate generated outputs.
