Business Development Manager - Pure Storage

About the role

Arrow's Enterprise Computing Solutions (ECS) business is a global technology enablement company serving technology manufacturers and their channel partners in commercial and government markets. The Business Development Manager drives growth, expands market reach and engages partners across Arrow's Pure Storage business, acting as the main link between Pure Storage, Arrow and its channel partners.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the annual Pure Storage business plan and build an active sales pipeline through channel partners
• Recruit, onboard and develop new Pure Storage-focused channel partners and resellers, and support them with certifications and go-to-market capabilities
• Maintain executive-level relationships with Pure Storage, lead business reviews and manage vendor funding programs and MDF investments
• Deliver business development workshops, training and sales enablement, and support joint marketing campaigns and partner events
• Maintain accurate sales forecasts and pipeline reporting, monitor performance and provide regular updates to management

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in channel sales, business development, vendor or partner management
• Experience with Pure Storage solutions or another leading enterprise technology vendor
• Proven track record of achieving revenue and profitability targets
• Desirable: experience in a technology distributor, knowledge of Pure Storage software infrastructure/cloud solutions, and experience managing MDF budgets and partner incentives

Required skills

• Strong understanding of indirect sales models and distribution ecosystems
• Excellent relationship-building, presentation and negotiation skills
• Strong commercial acumen and analytical mindset
