About the role
Lear's Plzeň engineering centre, established in 2012, is the fastest-growing engineering development centre in Europe. It designs and develops Lear products such as complex seating mechanisms and structures, foams, coatings, plastics and trim components. The centre aims to move beyond being an internal supplier and become a leading design and development centre serving major European OEM customers from concept through to delivery.
Key responsibilities
- Create 3D models in CATIA V5/V6
- Prepare 2D drawings
- Perform DMU checks
- Manage PLM data and data management
- Carry out concept design and packaging studies
- Perform legal and comfort checks
Required profile
- University degree in mechanical or manufacturing engineering
- Written and spoken English
- CAD design background (CATIA V5)
- Car interior/seating experience
- Technical understanding and good communication skills
- Legally authorised to work in the country where the position is located
