Engineering Supervisor

About the role

The Engineering Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the safe, efficient operation and maintenance of all tools, equipment, and facilities within the hotel. This role combines hands‑on technical work with team leadership and guest service support.

Key responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and perform preventative maintenance on tools, appliances, and equipment.
• Calibrate controls, gauges, meters and operate shut‑off valves.
• Manage inventory, order parts, and maintain purchase order logs.
• Conduct life‑safety checks, including fire‑pump and generator run tests.
• Inspect fire sprinkler valves, alarm systems, and support disaster‑response protocol development.
• Respond to guest repair requests and ensure timely resolution.
• Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating and coaching staff.
• Follow all safety, security and company policies, and maintain confidentiality of proprietary information.

Required profile

• Technical, trade or vocational school degree.
• Minimum 2 years of related engineering/maintenance experience.
• At least 2 years of supervisory experience.
• Ability to work on‑site in Brno, Czech Republic.
