Field Service Engineer – 12‑month contract

About the role

This is a one‑year contract position (with possible extension) to provide field service support for Roche cobas analyzers installed in hospitals and commercial laboratories across the Czech Republic, primarily in the Prague and Central Bohemia region.

Key responsibilities

• Install, maintain and repair Roche cobas analytical instruments on site.
• Perform manufacturer‑prescribed software modifications and final functional testing.
• Document service activities digitally and report in the global CRM system.
• Monitor service bulletins and order spare parts as needed.
• Collaborate with Roche Diagnostics Professional Services and other internal teams.

Required profile

• Technical degree in electronics or IT, or secondary school with electronics focus and at least 3 years of experience with medical devices.
• Proficient English for reading technical documentation and attending training.
• Valid category B driver’s licence and willingness to travel within the region.
• Customer‑oriented attitude and ability to work independently on customer sites.
