Head of Procurement

About the role

JetBrains is seeking a Head of Procurement to lead and transform its global procurement function. In this strategic leadership position you will combine oversight with hands‑on execution to ensure procurement processes are efficient, sustainable and aligned with the company’s rapid growth.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for the procurement department, setting long‑term direction and aligning with business priorities.
• Build, scale and adapt the team structure to meet evolving organizational needs.
• Strengthen stakeholder communication and collaboration across business units and regions.
• Establish procurement as a trusted internal service delivering efficient, scalable, value‑driven services.
• Introduce best practices, modernize processes and tools, and drive automation and digitalisation.
• Ensure effective cost control, risk management and compliance with global and local regulations.
• Lead vendor negotiations, supplier relationship management and category strategy.
• Mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a senior procurement leadership role, preferably in an international, fast‑scaling IT organization.
• Strong leadership skills with a track record of decision‑making, strategy formulation and team structuring.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities to network across functions, levels and geographies.
• Analytical mindset with a structured approach to solving complex problems.
• Resilience and adaptability to cope with pressure, setbacks and drive change.
