Investment Director – Healthcare Private Equity (CEE/DACH)

About the role

We are partnering with a founder‑led healthcare investment platform to hire an Investment Director who will work directly with the CEO on buy‑and‑build investments across Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) and the DACH region. The role combines full‑cycle deal leadership with hands‑on portfolio development within a connected healthcare ecosystem spanning providers, diagnostics and advanced genetics.

Key responsibilities

• Lead M&A processes from origination, valuation and due diligence through negotiation and closing.
• Assess majority‑control and path‑to‑control opportunities across the healthcare sector.
• Partner directly with the CEO on investment priorities and execution.
• Support post‑acquisition integration and strategic growth initiatives.
• Build relationships with founders, advisers and sector stakeholders across the region.

Required profile

• Minimum seven years of end‑to‑end M&A experience with a proven record of closed transactions.
• Strong sector credibility in healthcare (clinics, outpatient care, diagnostics, laboratories, digital health or genetics).
• Transaction exposure in CEE and/or DACH.
• Strong commercial judgment and financial analysis skills.
• Fluent English and working proficiency in Czech or Slovak.
