Lead Counsel Procurement & Finance

About the role

Keyloop is seeking a Lead Counsel to oversee legal matters across Procurement and Finance. The role combines strategic legal guidance with hands‑on support for sourcing, trademark management, litigation tracking, and treasury activities. You will work closely with internal teams and external counsel to ensure compliance, mitigate risk, and enable the company’s digital transformation agenda.

Key responsibilities

• Optimize and maintain the Legal & Compliance process for Procurement, including standard purchasing templates, internal guidance, training, and the procurement legal playbook for direct and indirect sourcing.
• Ensure the Procurement team operates within agreed financial FY plans.
• Manage all intra‑group services agreements under the direction of the Tax Director.
• Oversee Keyloop’s registered trademark portfolio.
• Lead litigation accrual engagement with Finance and maintain processes for recording and tracking litigation.
• Support Treasury with facility and working‑capital arrangements.
• Administer group company secretarial requirements and manage the external company secretarial service provider.
• Coordinate external counsel for HR and Facilities matters.
• Assist Finance with debt collection, customer claims, and early termination settlements.
• Plan legal resources for Procurement & Finance teams and manage external spend in line with FY plans.

Required profile

• Qualified solicitor, preferably UK qualified.
• Excellent drafting skills and sound knowledge of technology‑related legal risks.
• Strong communication ability to translate legal principles into practical guidance.
• Experience drafting and negotiating supplier agreements and identifying key risk areas.
• Experience assessing litigation accruals and supporting Finance/Procurement functions in a global business.
• Preferably experience within a global in‑house legal team.
